London Pride the pride of London
Fuller Smith & Turner Plc, the brewery responsible for London Pride, is having a good year. The company saw profits rise 47 percent compared to the first half of last year.
At a time when pubs in the U.K. are struggling to survive, the Fuller added 11 new ones located in rich parts of London. This most certainly helped the company rise above the difficult economic climate.
Shares are up 50 percent on the year after jumping 4.3 percent yesterday. Paul Hickman, an analyst with KBC Peel Hunt, thinks now would be a good time to buy stock in the company. (As Adam Sandler would say, this is information that would have been nice to know yesterday.)
Is this growth spurred on by Prince Harry? He certainly isn’t hurting the business.
