Anyone who reads DRAFTMag.com undoubtedly enjoys a good, old fashioned beer festival, and we can’t blame them. But with so many choices, which one is worth the time? Obviously, the moneyline is on the Great American Beer Festival but what else is out there? Do you have a great one in your neighborhood you never miss (and want to share with the world)? Is there a beer fest to which you travel every year?

As usual, let us know via email, Twitter, or in the comments. Then go outside.

Two beer weeks for Denver

If some is good, more is better. At least that seems to be the philosophy of the beer community in Denver, Colorado. The Rocky Mountain town will have two beer weeks in the near future, as the Denver Beer Fest (this fall) and Denver Beer Week (spring 2010) both take place.

“This is going to create buzz and get people talking about beer and craft beer,” Rich Grant, communications director for the Visit Denver convention and tourism agency, said of the first event that’s timed to coincide with the Great American Beer Festival. “And I think it will create a lot of national press.”

Guilty as charged.
