Los Angeles learns to love beer

The Los Angeles beer bar scene is exploding — probably at least partially thanks to our coverage of the city.
But is it too much of a good thing, too quickly?
“Los Angeles has always been slow on the uptake in terms of craft beer, and my philosophy is that beer wasn’t sexy enough, it wasn’t slick enough,” says Christina “the beer chick” Perozzi. “L.A. has a huge nightclub and cocktail culture rather than a tavern and pub culture. It took a while to catch on, but now that it has, it’s exploding. We might be getting oversaturated.”
Probably not. We’re just glad that when we visit L.A. and we want a beer, we’ll have choices beyond Father’s Office.
