Spring comes to New Belgium Brewing Co.

Punxsutawney Phil’s day in the sun has come and gone, which means it’s time to start talking about spring seasonals. We’ll start in Colorado, with New Belgium Brewing Co.’s Mighty Arrow.
The brew, dedicated to CEO Kim Jordan’s late Aussie/Border Collie Arrow, is a staple of the company’s line of seasonal beers. According to assistant brewmaster Grady Hull, “It offers citrus and floral tones, both of which are appreciated during the spring warm-up months.”
That said, Mighty Arrow certainly isn’t a beer for the dogs. Pick up a sixer wherever New Belgium is sold.

I really look forward to getting some of this again this year as it’s a fine beer for my tastes. It’s very well balanced with a nice hoppy taste and some malt. Plus I have an Australian Shepherd of my own.
