That campaign to buy Pabst Brewing Co. didn’t go so well. But let’s not blame ourselves; $300 million is a lot of money. Now $168,000, that seems more reasonable.
That amount happens to be the opening price at an auction to purchase the Marietta Brewing Co., an Ohio beermaker that’s being sold because it owes $700,000 to various creditors.
Getting the business back up and running could take some work (and a lot of cash), but we hear Ohio is nice this time of year. O!H!I!O!
The MBC boasts some quality stuff. This would be an excellent decision! Albeit I believe it has been purchased.
