BrewDog unveils world’s strongest beer
By Noah Davis • Nov 30th, 2009 • Category: Beer News
Just weeks after Scotland banned BrewDog’s 18.2 percent beer, Tokyo, (because of its label) the brewery is hitting back with Tactical Nuclear Penguin, the strongest beer in the world. The beer checks in at 32 percent alcohol after spending a year and a half in casks and another month in a freezing cooler.
“This is an extremely strong beer; it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance,” the bottle’s label reads. “In exactly the same manner that you would enjoy a fine whisky [sic], a Frank Zappa album or a visit from a friendly yet anxious ghost.”
Now if only there was a video explaining how it was made. Oh wait…

Interesting, but I find myself a little turned off by the whole “monster beer” phase personally. High alcohol, higher prices… meh. I’ll just curl up with a six-pack of my favorite session beer and be happy not getting hammered or hammering my wallet.
Run off in open air! Hands reached into.
Congrats on 32%, I’m sure it tastes like
I expect it would.
