Question of the week: What’s your favorite Thanksgiving beer?

By Noah Davis • Nov 23rd, 2009 • Category: question of the week

THANKSGIVING! Is it the best holiday of the year? Quite possibly. We haven’t really met a single person who doesn’t like the yearly Thursday gorge-fest. But it does raise a question: What’s the appropriate beer to pair with delicious turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and the rest?

Well, that’s where you come in. Tell us what you think. Email us, Tweet at us, or leave your thoughts in the comments. And enjoy, you know?

  1. Dogfish Head Pangaea goes pretty good with the whole meal, I’m a big fan. That or cracking open the Saranac 12 Beers of Christmas is always fun on Thanksgiving

  2. I’m planning on a bottle of The Bruery Autumn Maple. Should pair with everything from roasted turkey to candied yams and pecan pie!

  3. I think the malty stuff goes best with turkey and dressing, so I’ll be drinking some locally brewed Diamond Bear Rocktoberfest.
