World’s oldest bartender pours his last pint

More than 70 years ago, West View, Pennsylvania’s Angelo Cammarata stepped behind a bar and started serving beer. He hasn’t left since.
That will change sometime in the next couple of weeks, when the world’s longest-serving bartender retires from the liquor life. The 95 year old plans is selling Cammarata’s Cafe, the two-room bar he’s run with his sons John and Frank. After calling it quits, he plans to do chores and take care of his 92-year-old wife, Marietta.
During the past 70 years, it’s fair to say Cammarata’s come to know his costumers. “We’re not a classy drink bar. No. We’re a local bar, shot and a beer,” he told the Associated Press.
Cheers, mate.
