Maui Brewing Company comes to the mainland

By Noah Davis • Aug 3rd, 2009 • Category: Beer News

President Barack Obama is doing more than spurring sales of beers across the country; he’s actually helping put breweries in his home state of Hawaii on the map.

Thanks to an agreement with Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA, beers from the Maui Brewing Company will now be available in 29 states. You can even get the canned brew — Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, and CoCoNut Porter — in Washington D.C.

In other words, just in time for the next “Beer Summit.”
