James “Jim” Quilter passes on

After many years of service to the brewing industry, James “Jim” Quilter — head brewer at Ram Restaurant in Seattle’s University Village — passed away on June 26. Beer blogs across the Northwest are mourning his departure off this mortal coil and on behalf of the DRAFTMag.com community, we’d like to extend our condolences to Jim’s family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009, 12 p.m. in the Evergreen-Washelli chapel.
