Hey beer truck driver, watch out for that overpass

By Noah Davis • Jul 2nd, 2009 • Category: Beer News

Well, it happened again. A truck carrying Bud Light smashed into an overpass in Great Falls, Montana. Luckily no beer was spilled, although we imagine those cans might not pour very well for a while.

According to Eric Schroedel, assistant roadmaster for BNSF Railway, the crash shifted the tracks roughly eight inches, causing at least two freight trains to be delayed overnight.

Officer Steve O’Brien said that the truck driver blamed the accident on the fact that he was used to driving a 12-foot truck rather than the 13-and-a-half foot vehicle he had that night. The driver now knows it’s impossible to go under a 12-and-a-half foot bridge with his new truck. You live, you learn (you’re a moron).
