Get your July 4th beer before it’s gone

Not only is July National Picnic Month, it’s also home to July 4th, which happens to be the biggest beer-selling holiday in the country. Sales at supermarkets alone will top 24 million cases during the holiday period. That’s a good chunk part of the over $41 billion in business, personal, and consumption taxes the industry pays.
“Independence Day is the perfect time to recognize the contributions our industry makes to the national economy,” Jeff Becker, president of the Beer Institute, told PRNewswire. “The beer category also offers consumers a broad array of quality products at affordable price points.”
