Guinness discovers carbonation

By Noah Davis • Apr 10th, 2009 • Category: Beer Releases

There’s something amazing about sitting down at a bar, ordering a Guinness, and knowing you’re about to start sipping that wonderful, flat, thick mass. It’s like breakfast, but better.

For a special anniversary, the brewery wants to offer you a different experience, so it’s releasing Guinness 250 Anniversary Stout. The 5-percent ABV brew will feature carbonation instead of Guinness Draught’s traditional nitrogen and carbon dioxide making for a different taste (and easing the life of bartenders everywhere)

“This is more about refreshment and zing,” Guinness master brewer Fergal Murray told MSNBC.com.

You can get Guinness 250 starting on April 24 for roughly six months. So Guinness for breakfast, Guinness 250 for lunch?
