Flying Dog launching low-alcohol craft line
• Apr 1st, 2009 • Category: Beer NewsThose jokesters at Flying Dog are always developing new beers and they’ve really outdone themselves today with the announcement of a new series featuring low-alcohol beers.
The “Canis Minor Series” will include four beers with alcohol content ranging from 0.9% ABV to 1.59% ABV.
“When the Marketing Department originally presented this idea to the production team, we thought they were nuts,” Matt Brophy, VP of brewing operations, said in a statement. “But the more we piloted the product and test marketed it, the more we became convinced that low gravity might be the next big thing in craft beer.”
