A pre-Thanksgiving feast

By Noah Davis • Nov 25th, 2008 • Category: Beer News

Thursday’s the big eating day, but that doesn’t mean you should skimp on food tomorrow night. Magnolia Brewpub in San Francisco wants to help with its monthly 3-course dinner and beer pairings. The last Wednesday of each month, the venue — which has an insane Web site — brings together some excellent grub, food, and people for a celebration like none other (until the next month).

Tomorrow, you’ll feast on butternut squash soup, turducken with giblet gravy and Fireband brioche stuffing, and pomegranate sorbet, all designed and cooked by chef Brandon Jew. Beer pairing TBD. The event, which costs $33, starts at 5 p.m. Think of it as training. Clogged arteries for all!
