Here come the holidays

Oktoberfest isn’t even over, and yet its already time for holiday beers — but can you blame the breweries preemptive strike when stores start selling decorations for Halloween in August, Thanksgiving in September and Christmas in October? Really, we should be thanking them for releasing their special brews early.
Leinenkugel Brewing Company will debut its holiday seasonal brew starting in November, which will give you a month of drinking time to prepare yourself for another horrendous reindeer sweater from crazy Aunt Betsy. Leinenkugel’s Fireside Nut Brown is a 4.9%-ABV beer with chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut top notes that complement its roasted malt character. The English-style nut brown pairs well with holiday foods like Grandma’s glazed ham, Mom’s roast, and Dad’s midnight leftovers raid. Look for Fireside Nut Brown in six-, 12-, and 24-packs and on draft all over the country.
